The Confluence Summit “Pitch Perfect” Session will put 3 companies in front of 3 investors for a 5-minute pitch. Investors will ask questions and provide feedback for founders to improve their approach.

New company pitches may include:

  • Streaming Platforms
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality
  • Visual Effects
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Voice-Controlled Applications

GUIDELINES AND ELIGIBILITY:

Rules:

  • Pitching executive must be registered for the Confluence Summit.
  • The proposed idea should not be in violation of any intellectual property rights.
  • Pitch should be 5 minutes in length.
  • All businesses must have ideas or business models in the start-up phase and have not secured more than a first round of funding.

Deadline:

  • Registration must be submitted no later than 11:59 Pacific Time, October 19, 2018.

Judges:

Perfect your pitch with investors and advisors from Y Combinator, Sephora Accelerate and Muse Capital.

** Pitches will also be in front of Confluence Summit attendees which will include investors, founders, studio executives, content creators and technology innovators.

About the Judges:

Holly Liu, Founder, Kabam
Visiting Partner, Y Combinator

Holly has been named amongst Fortune’s “10 Most Powerful Women in Gaming”, Forbes’ “12 Women in Gaming to Watch” and Forbes’ “10 Women Entrepreneurs to Watch from Google Ventures’ Portfolio Companies”. Currently, Holly is a Visiting Partner at Y-Combinator, a new model for funding early stage start-ups.

Originally from the UK, Rachel started her career at Superbrands. Her introduction to the start-up world came in 2012 after meeting the renowned artist manager and super angel investor Troy Carter.
